What, now we should have another guy in town nicknamed “scoop”? No clue about this development, hadn’t heard. If true, I might be inclined to at least partly attribute the closure to a lack of marketing. I never heard about them, saw any ads, had any feel for their brand or the experience I might have there. You can’t operate in a basement without being visible above ground (i.e. as close to the top of the public’s awareness as possible). A thought for all area restaurants and other consumer-based and other businesses: are you operating in a virtual basement? Get marketing help.
