Well, It all worked out. Sort of. Lost some folks i the shuffle, but found a few more. At least we got to play somewhere. Which brings me to the next point. WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING TO ALL THE BLUES CLUBS?

You know, if it weren’t for blues, there would be no rock and roll, not that there is anyway. At least not the kind I grew up with. Everywhere I go, on those rare occasions I ahve a weekend night off, I hear “mindless, THUMP, THUMPY-THUMP” music. It’s weird. I don’t understand the attraction. Some guy with a 10K sound system, sub-woofers larger than a minivan, and the damn floor just bouncing up and down, and young people getting stupid (alky-hall!), listening to this stuff. I just don’t get it, and I bet I just made a whole lot of “friends”, but, forgive me, DJ’s take money away from working musicians, although I’m sure 3/4’s of what they play, is digitally created anyhow.

The worst non-union, garage band, is still better than the best DJ (or karaoke!)

Not real sure where to take this blog!

Music makes the world go ’round. My world anyway. I’m not a politician but I guess I am political! I’m not in to controversy, but I guess I do find my self a little controversial.

Brett Favre has retired. Muddy Waters is dead. Big Dog Murphy is still alive and going at it.
