I am honestly shocked by this turn of events. Kristen Fish has resigned after 7 years with the City of Wausau. We have tried to contact her, but was unable to reach her for comment. No one gets pleasure out of seeing someone leave their job and career after so much success.

Citizen Wausau does not condone hate speech of any kind. We urge you to elevate this conversation above the vulgar, obscene and cruel. You didn’t try very hard if you tried to contact me. I resigned because I received a great offer from a great company. I worked hard for the City for seven years, and we did some great things together.

I am actually glad you have a good job to go to. Like I told someone recently in a text message (and I am aware of the irony) I was concerned that this was a tremendous beating you were taking. I had hoped you were eating enough vegetables and drinking enough water, and I sstill do.
I think your legacy is unchallenged by anyone paying attention.
I would love to sit down and talk about this, before you move onto your next job. Heck, if for no other reason as it would give me a reason to drink more coffee.
