Announcing: Citizen Wausau Loves

by Andy Laub on December 4th, 2008

Citizen Wausau is proud to announce Citizen Wausau Loves…, a collection of items that we at CW can’t get enough of. CW♥ is a partnership with Amazon.com, which means that purchases are still through Amazon directly, but Citizen Wausau will receive a tiny bit of each purchase. It’s an easy way to help keep us going, all by doing what you were already doing!

And even if you don’t see anything there that interests you, you can use this link to shop on the main Amazon.com site while still using our referral code.

Thanks, and happy shopping!

I think that the things we chose are a bit of a sad reflection on the boys that we still are. What would an FBI profiler think?

I think it is bit ironic that now you are encouraging us to use the Wal-Mart of online shopping right after we had a discussion about the benefits of shopping local?

Anyway I suppose I should look over what you are recomending before being too critical, perhaps some of the items were produced locally.

Matthew, while shopping locally indeed has its benefits in certain situations, I’d recommend checking up on the discussion occurring in the other thread, for it’s been covering this very issue. Basically, there are arguments to be made for both sides.

There is nothing that I, or anyone I would want to know would want on that list. It is a nice try at funding this site but your selection would have been better made by a hungry goldfish with buttons to press for food!

Citizen Wausau does not condone hate speech of any kind. We urge you to elevate this conversation above the vulgar, obscene and cruel. We do not care to practice censorship, but to protect the integrity of the discussions found on this site, we will act accordingly if no other compromise can be reached.
