We rarely put a photo on the front of Citizen Wausau, but in this case we make an exception.
Our thoughts go out to our friend John Fischer. His friend Captain left this place for the next place after a lifetime of service and friendship. I was lucky enough to hang out with Captain a few times, and consider myself lucky to know him.

I lost my best friend Buddy this past October. I’m still not fully over it. He meant the world to me and the part of my heart broken with his passing will never fully heal.
If you ever wanted to do that beer you talked about, I’d be happy to buy, and we could reminisce about our old friends whenever you were ready.
