Every day I wake up and more leaves have dumped onto the ground. It’s startling how quickly it happens, but I guess life is just flying by me so fast right now; everything seems to be manic and blurry. I’ve been getting to know so many new and wonderful people here in Wausau and here online. Sometimes my journalist background kicks into high gear, and I switch into interview mode. Well, the heat is really turning up in the Presidential election. Intense debates, emotions running high, personal attacks, accusations, spurious claims, twisted facts, falsehoods — and all that is just between regular citizens on different sides of the fence!
