Thank You
This is me, in the car wash at Kwik Trip after my long weekend. I like that hat a lot.
Recently a pretty girl who I like told me I looked good. So thank you for that. I actually feel like this process is going too slow. As a result I have to be more aware of potentially harmful behavior. It is weird. I am proud of this, but am not proud of it going slow. But everyone tells me that slow is better than fast.

Dino,
You’ve heard this before and I’ll say it again. Slow and steady wins the race. You SHOULD be proud of it going slowly. That says that you are going about the process intelligently. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Dino - did you miss me last week? It was good to get home and check on your “journey” but you didn’t say much last week. Are you still having a formal weigh in with your nutritionist? Or are you weighing on your own? Good luck - sometimes it does get slow, but some days you’ll hit it hard and feel like you’re more on track.
I was traveling south, and ate healthy for a couple of days - lots of good chicken and veggies. But, hey, it was vacation and I was “home” - so I had fried okra 3 TIMES, chicken fried steak, a chicken fried steak sandwich, Braum’s ice cream twice, beans and rice, and a Whataburger (best fast food burger EVER, ANYWHERE). But this week I’m “detoxing” and getting back on track - soon we’ll be outside more and enjoying the sunshine, wanting to lose weight for those summer clothes.
We’ll have a GREAT healthy spring - once it gets here!
