So I need to plan things a little better. I want to have more active control, and less dependance on going to Noodles or Downtown Grocery for lunch. It is my intent to bring my llunch to work. With that, I must commit to the idea of breakfast, and I have a feeling I must return to tea, and a pause in the morning.
Right now, it is a race to get to work. For a few reasons, I really love work, but more than that I have to be somewhere. My father had a tradition my whole life, he would go for coffee each morning. He would go to the donut shop by St Theresa’s, and when that went under, he went to McDonalds. We do not do that anymore. As a culture, we race to the office, and get coffee there. We stop drinking coffee like my dad did.
That is number 1.
Number 2 is I went to the doctor this week, had my blood work done, the magnets on my chest, the pee test, all of it. I came back healthier than 6 months ago. So that was nice. My blood sugars have not spiked in the last 6 months, regardless of what I thought. My cholesterol was right where it should be, but not even near a top range. The only thing he was concerned with, my blood pressure. So he put me on some blood pressure pills. The smallest dose, on the least invasive one. So that is a good thing. I like actively taking part in my life.
Finally is the rub. I have a goal of dropping weight each week. Dropping weight, no matter what. The number must be smaller. So, I am on a 1800 calorie diet. Doctor approved. But, I need to plan my meals and meal times a lot better.
This is what I want to do…
530 am workout five days a week.
7 pm work out as many days as possible.
Snowshoeing each weekend.
That being said, do I eat in the morning prior to the gym, and how does this affeect the bowel movement. Typically, I have a bit of a morning glory sort of thing. Usually about 11 am, but have not really thought about that in regards to the gym. So I am unsure as to how this all plays out.
So, if I am in the gym at 530 am, do I eat before it?

Dino: eat something before…even you if just drink a glass of milk. Otherwise, its like trying to drive your car with an empty gas tank.
