Hi Everyone,

Here are a few quick things for you to be aware of — and potentially participate with –

1.  May 21, 2008 “Lt. Governor Lawton to Make Important Green Economy Announcement in Wausau”

        Lt.Governor to Address District and Student Body Leadership at East High School

        Wednesday, May 21, 2008

        10am

        Wausau East High School (2607 north Eighteenth Street)

***Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton will make an important announcement regarding her Green Economy Agenda at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at East High School in Wausau. She will be joined by School District Superintendent Stephen Murley.

The Green Economy Agenda is a series of proposals to empower smart individual and institutional action related to climate change as a strategy to strengthen Wisconsin’s competitive position in a global economy.    

       

2.  May 22, 2008 “Wausau Metropolitan Planning Organization — Bike/Pedestrian Subcommittee” is hosting a

        “Draft Bike & Pedestrian Transportation Plan Recommendations”  ** They are looking for input on the Draft

        Thursday, May 22, 2008

        5pm to 7pm
