A call for Summer books
So, as I wrote earlier, I like to reach out in the summer for reading material. So I am reaching out. I ask you, suggest a book. I will read it. I will write about it here.
The conditions, I have to be able to buy it at Et Al’s or Jankes.
I am going to pay off the library for all my fines, and maybe I could check it out.
But other than that, feel free to suggest whatever you want.
Email them to me, put them in the comments here, do whatever you want.
If I have read them, then I will let you know.
This is your chance to affect change in my life, to alter the trajectory of the missle.
Right now

Dino - I was going to tell you about my favorite book from the last few years, but after looking at your summer list from 2002, you’ll probably think that I’m shallow! But it’s a fun book, and a sports book, so give it a try. I looked for it at Janke’s this week to buy for a friend but didn’t see it, so I’m going to call and ask them to order me a couple, and I will loan you one if you want.
“Who’s Your Caddy?” by Rick Reilly, one of the best, and funniest sports commentators ever. Writes for SI. He spent a couple of years caddying for famous people, not just golfers, so it’s not necessarily a book about golf; more about different types of people. The chapter on John Daley was interesting, he even was a caddy for Donald Trump.
Yes, I know I’m a girl, and I know it’s sports, but that’s why my husband loves me so much!
