The Head in Me is getting louder
Tonight on MTV, I had to listen to some HIP HOP JOURNALISTS, put together a record about the best emcee in the game. The top ten of the boys out there right now. I am just going to leave it with this, Kanye was on top. I do not mind that, the album he dropped is amazing, and innovative.
But Lil Wayne was number 3. Last year he was number 1. How is he number one, he has not dropped a real ALBUM in so long. And the lyrics are just shit. I could care less about how he is blowing up on mix tapes, or in clubs. Make a record.
I have been away from hip hop for a while. But, the thing is, my credentials are fine. My collection is deep.
I was 16, at the Runs House at Mecca, with my 10 year old brother.
Hip hop flavors my cells.
And I think I need to speak up a bit.
