Born in the Land of Sky Blue Waters
That’s right, I am. Actually, no I wasn’t, but Hamm’s beer was. In fact I am enjoying a Hamm’s Premium right now, but I must say Hamm’s Golden Draft is most definitely my favorite. Speaking of beer, I recently was hired at a liquor store, as a clerk/stock-bitch. The majority of our sales are that of Organic beers and wines. This community wherein the liquor store is situated, consists of individuals wishing to, if not already fully participating in, a ”natural” way of living. There is a co-op and several restaurants dedicated to vegan dishes. Eating “healthy” is not particuraly my thing, as I do enjoy the consistent burger, steak, fried chicken and/or anything that can be deep fried. So, needless to say, I have censored my love for true Wisconsin fare, when at work (I even ate an eggless eggsalad sandwich…. ew, effin’ gross). However, the people I work with are unique, entertaining and hardworking and in the end, that’s all that matters. In other news, I am currently in Wausau, as I had to return my sister to our parents. She stayed with me in Madison this past week, while our parental units enjoyed their 25th Wedding Anniversary in Whitefish, Montana. And as I write this, my dad keeps holding up photos of their trip, and naturally keeps stating that the reason they don’t have more is because they were confiscated by the park warden…. due to…. well, my dad likes to tell tall tales, and hilarious ones at that.
On that note, I need another beer.
