Am I crazy or what?
Well made it official this morning, going to start building a house in this wretched economy.. however I am doing it with a large twist.. supplying the labor myself with family to help. This will be the third complete home or cabin that I have helped construct, however this one I get to call all the shots and spend all the money I guess. Love hate type of proposition I see.
Not going real big, just 40 x 62 with a 36×26 attached garage.. straight design with little quirks here and there. I hope that the economy turns around in the next 24 to 36 months, but taking little risk in this adventure.
Home Depot and Menards will probably be happy.. checking and savings account not so much.
